They can’t move apps to SD cards, but in this tutorial, I am gonna show you how to move apps to SD cards or external storage in Realme phones.

This is an entirely new method because many YouTubers are shown to move apps to SD cards in realme but it didn’t work so that’s why I created this article. By using this method, you will be able to move apps to an external storage or you can directly download apps to an SD card. So let’s quickly see how to move apps to external storage on realme. 

  • Open Additional settings

    First of all, open your mobile settings and tap on additional settings. 

  • Select Developer Options

    In additional settings, you must scroll down and select the developer option. Now in the developer option, you have to scroll down to the bottom and will get an option to force apps to external storage. 

  • Turn On “Force Allow Apps on External”

    Turn on the option to force apps to move into external storage. 

Result

Right after turning on the setting, you will be able to download apps to an SD card directly or Apps will be installed on the SD card. That’s all we want right? 

Nowadays, smartphones don’t support any kind of move apps to SD card feature because it is extinct from the Android OS. But still, there is hope there is a way to directly download apps to SD cards by turning on forcefully moving apps to external storage settings and developer options. 

And if the developer option is not available in your settings, then try the below procedure to enable the developer option. 

Turn on Developer Option Realme 

To turn on developer settings on Realme is pretty much the same as any Android OS to turn it on: 

  • Open your mobile. 
  • Scroll down > tap on “About Phone”. 
  • There you have to tap on build number 4-5 times. 
  • After continuously pressing the build number now, the developer option has been enabled.
